NO FOOD OR GLASS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED INSIDE POOL AREA
Food and drinks must be consumed in the adjacent picnic area. Food remnants attract ants and other pests, and trash has previously blown into the pool and lodged in the drain, resulting in a burned-out pool pump motor. This was expensive and the pool was closed until it was repaired. Broken glass on the deck area will result in closing the pool for a week to drain, vacuum, and refill the pool.
HYGIENE/DISEASE PREVENTION
- NO SMOKING ALLOWED INSIDE POOL AREA

- Do not swim if you have diarrhea or have had diarrhea within the past two weeks.

- No diving. Maximum depth 5 feet.
- No running or dangerous play of any type.
- Vacate the Aquatic Venue and deck during storms.
- No bicycles, tricycles, or similar toys allowed.

24 HOUR VIDEO SURVEILLANCE
The pool house is equipped with a secured 24-hour camera / video surveillance recording system for safety and security issues as well as providing documentation for insurance purposes in the event of theft or accident.
POOL AND PICNIC RESERVATIONS
The picnic area can be reserved for a group party any day of the week. The pool can be reserved Mondays through Thursdays, excluding holidays. This allows everyone to enjoy the pool on weekends and holidays. Standard reservations are for two hours, but additional time may be available based on date and time needed. Important: Reserving the pool does not license anyone exclusive use of the facilities. The pool and picnic area can still be used by other residents during that time if desired, but it’s a courtesy to allow groups private party time at the pool and the picnic area.
To make a reservation, contact forestparkestates@live.com and post a notice on the fence near the pool gate at least two weeks prior to the event. The notice must include:
- Event name
- Date
- Time
- Homeowner’s name and phone number
Consider a protective cover sheet to shield the notice from weather.
The homeowner is responsible for cleaning up all trash and removing it from the area. Any trash left behind from a party will result in a $200 fine that will be billed to the party host by the Homeowners Association.
POOL CARDS
The pool gate is equipped with an electronic gate lock latch that will unlock when you pass your card over the reader box. Pool cards should be kept in a safe place. If your card is damaged, you must return the damaged card, and you will be given a new card at no charge. If you lose or misplace your pool card, report it to forestparkestates@live.com so that card can be deactivated. There is a $50 fee payable to Forest Park Estates Homes Association to replace your lost or stolen card.
POOL WI-FI
Free Wi-Fi access is available during the pool season. The network name and password are provided annually to each homeowner in good standing (i.e., current on dues), at the beginning of the season.

LOSS OF POOL PRIVILEGES
The new pool key system logs each entry by household. This helps ensure safety and, in conjunction with the 24-hour video surveillance, can be used to track down responsible parties in case of theft, vandalism, or bad behavior / non conformance with the pool rules and regulations.
Violators of the pool rules will be asked to leave. In certain circumstances, such as county health code violations, vandalism, or failure to clean up after a party, the Forest Park Estates HOA reserves the right to suspend a homeowner’s pool access, either temporarily or for the remainder of the pool season, depending on the severity of the violation.
Homeowners in arrears of their HOA dues have no pool privileges. Cards are reactivated when HOA fees are brought current.
