Welcome to the Forest Park Estates Neighborhood Website

This website serves as your source for current neighborhood information and documents, including organized social events, pool insights, deed restrictions, and guidance when making changes to the exterior of your home. You will also find information about your Homeowners Association administration and scheduled meetings. We invite all residents to serve the HOA by joining the Board or one of the critical committees on a rotating basis. Please contact any HOA Board member for more information. Helpful Reminders

The speed limit in our neighborhood is no more than 20 miles per hour on most streets. Complaints have been received throughout the year regarding excessive speeding. Please slow down and be careful as we have more than 150 children living and playing in our neighborhood.

As a courtesy, please do not park vehicles in the street overnight or for long periods of time. Please use your driveway. When you or your guests park a car on an inclined street, please remember to set the emergency brake (or leave the car in gear if it is a manual transmission), and turn wheels into or away from the curb (whether downhill or uphill) to avoid another runaway car. We’ve had two incidents in the neighborhood and want to avoid any more. Thankfully no injuries or damage to properties (other than street lights) have resulted.

Be sure to notify the Architectural Committee Chairperson of any exterior changes to your home (paint color, roofing, any additions or changes to the exterior of your home) and complete an architectural modification request form. To allow adequate review time (per the regulations up to 45 days) we ask that you contact the Architectural Committee Chairperson with your request PRIOR TO committing to services, purchasing materials, and starting work.  This will allow you to understand the review process and will greatly reduce your risk in the event that your request is not approved or is approved with exceptions/modifications.  Project inspirations may occur overnight but project plans don't, so please don't forget about this important step in your planning process.

The pool remains open until September 5th "Labor day"  -  to be confirmed

FPE HOA Fall Social & Wine Tasting October 8th 6:00 - 9:00 pm  - an adult event

Halloween Kiddos Trunk or Treat - October 30th "4:00 - 5:00 pm

Forest Park Estates Year-End Public Board Meeting - Date in November will be communicated, 6:30 -8:00 PM at Barley's Kitchen + Tap, 16649 Midland Drive, Shawnee, KS in the Wheat Room.

Holiday Progressive Dinner - December 3th Details will be communicated - an adult event

Spring is nearly here and Home owners are starting exterior Home improvements

Be aware that Architecture Modification Forms are required for any exterior home changes, replacements, or improvements.

All residences Must fill out and have this form approved by the Architectural Committee before the start of any construction. The downloadable form is posted on FPEHOA.com and is found under Essentials use this form for:

.....Any Exterior painting or siding .....Room or Home additions

.....Driveways  …Walkways  .....Decks  .....Patios

…Swimming pool construction (Above ground pools are not allowed)

…Basketball goal installation (backboards must be transparent)

…Exterior walls  .....Arbors  .....Fences NO chain link fencing allowed.

…All fencing shall be made of cedar, wrought iron or aluminum equivalent.

…All fencing shall be no more than 6 feet in height.

…All fences New or Replacements require approval.
